Luang Prabang

19th - 22nd May 2004

Luang Prabang is a small town with a great many temples. There are many guesthouses, restaurants and a market full of interesting food. We spent four days there relaxing, sightseeing and splashing around in the Kuang Si waterfall.

Haw Pha Bang wat in the Royal Palace Museum:

We met our friends Richard and Shell again from Muang Ngoi Neua. Together we climbed to the top of Phou Si hill to watch the sun set and do crazy things.

We visited Kuang Si waterfall and spent a whole day splashing in the pools and exploring the paths. In fact it was so good we went back the next day too. It was the only place in the whole country that we managed to be cold!
